Range Meat Academy was developed in response to an industry demand.
We asked retailers what they needed to help them train and develop their employees. Retailers told us a training program has to cover the breadth and depth of questions and topics that shoppers might ask. Nearly all of those with and without a current training program would like to have a program that’s simple, flexible and web-based.

Introducing Range® Meat Academy Online Certificate Programs
Our comprehensive online Range® Meat Clerk certificate program includes courses on providing exemplary customer service and understanding meat basic knowledge. It should be noted that we cover characteristics of over 240 meat cuts! Furthermore, learn to recommend proper cooking methods and substitutable cuts at the retail meat case or on the menu.
The Range® Meat Cutter certificate program builds on the Meat Clerk program. It includes over 10 hours of meat cutting training videos and course work with advanced meat cutting knowledge. In short, you will learn how to break whole animals into primals, subprimals and retail cuts for the case or cuts for the menu.
Range® Butcher certificate programs are on-site with hands-on cutting and training. Without a doubt, we can condense the training.
